Wine was picked to produce a bright, lean style of Sangiovese. Looking toward Tuscany as guidance, a hands off approach was taken with the wine. It's hard to mess up beautiful fruit, so we let the wine progress on a slow, cool path. The wine was placed in Neutral French Oak barrels to finish malolactic fermentation, then transferred to stainless steel to rest for the next 16 months. Bright cherry fruit with clean acidity makes it a very versatile wine.
